Stem Cell Techniques Course
The most frequently offered course is an intensive 2-week half-day Techniques Course, which has been offered two to four times a year since 2007 to a maximum of 12 students per course. Over 600 participants from all over the world have benefited from the courses offered thus far.
Participants of the Techniques Courses are immersed in hands-on training taught by an experienced instructor. Students also have the opportunity to meet and chat with advisory faculties.
At the end of each course, students receive a certificate of completion.

iPSC Culturing Hands-on Course
Human pluripotent stem cell culture techniques include passaging, cryo-preserving and thawing, embryoid body formation, transfection, chromosome spread, cardiomyocyte differentiation and neuronal progenitor differentiation.

iPSC Reprogramming Hands-on Course
The “iPSC Culturing Hands-on Course” is a prerequisite for this course.
The reprogramming techniques including fibroblast seeding, transduction of Yamanaka Factors, and clone selection and expansion will be hands-on experienced. Please expect that the reprogramming takes up to 2 to 3 months to be completed.
